The profession of pharmacist has always been in demand. On profesia.sk, for example, you can see that on average there are always about 200 job offers for pharmacists, and this makes this profession valuable and promising. We also regularly review thematic groups of foreigners in Slovakia in social media and can conclude that there is a need for pharmacies to have employees who speak foreign languages, including Ukrainian, Russian and English.
On April 26, 2024, the pharmacist exam (Doplňujúca skúška) was taken in Slovakia, which showed the importance of more in-depth not only professional but also language training. According to information from direct participants and our new students, in a group of 25 people only 2 people were able to successfully pass the testing phase. This is a statistic that makes us think about the importance of preparation.
